An invited competition for a business resort with 105 rooms and 30 long-stay apartments was announced for the town of Bretten in the greater Karlsruhe area. 

In addition to a bar and several restaurants, large conference areas should also be integrated. The design uses the special hillside location and clearly divides the areas into two buildings that sit on a connecting base that partially disappears into the slope and allows an unobstructed view to the south and to the orchard. On the top floor of the hotel is the Skybar and the wellness area with an outdoor terrace that promises a wide view.
