grand hotel astoria 

The historic Grand Hotel Astoria was built in 1915 by the architects of Leipzig Central Station, Lossow & Kühne. After severe war damage, it was extensively repaired in 1958 and was one of the best-known hotels in the Interhotel group. After 20 years of vacancy and decay, wolff:architekten is now planning the refurbishment and conversion in a hybrid timber construction into a house with 120 hotel rooms and 78 apartments, which has a restaurant and café.
