house at petzinsee II
The task was to accommodate an extensive space program for a young family on a relatively small plot of land close to the lake. Despite the functional constraints, the building can open attractively to the lake. The strict, cubic formulation of the two-storey building with a basement resulting from the dependencies is broken on the north-east side by the indented entrance area, whose sculptural development enlivens the building.
The structuring of the facades with recessed, darkly accentuated plaster surfaces supports this attitude.
