hofhaus berlin-mitte

A four-storey new building with a basement was erected on Strelitzer Strasse in Berlin-Mitte as a densification of the back part of the property. The front building was renovated in 2004 and the attic was expanded for two apartments. The former side wing, which had the same height, was demolished in the early 1980s after war damage. The remaining shed and garage buildings were demolished for the new building. A total of 1329 sqm GFA living and office space with 4 units in the new garden building and 10 units in the existing building were created on the 652 sqm property. By creating a green roof and unsealing other courtyard areas, the naturally green area could be restored increase. The new building has resulted in extremely attractive rental apartments of different sizes, which are characterized by their three-sided orientation and good lighting.
