Kleinschmiedstrasse Stralsund

In the center of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, which has been completely preserved in its medieval structures as a "UNESCO World Heritage Site", a residential building erected in the 1950s with a living space of 305 square meters was renovated. The former drying floor of the steeply sloping roof was converted into an attractive maisonette apartment. From the upper roof terrace is theUnobstructed view over the roof landscape to Rügen. in geA medieval "Lübische fire wall" is integrated into the building, which could be dated to a year of construction before 1350. This Gothic wall was partially uncovered and left visible in the course of the construction work.
