Building permit granted: 90 new homes to be built in sustainable timber construction in Berlin.

After an intensive planning and coordination phase, we have received the building permit for our Quartier Mehring project. The car-free development comprises four new residential buildings and five existing buildings. A structurally obsolete parking garage will be demolished and replaced with new housing and generous park-like open spaces. The project will be delivered using hybrid construction methods and will include a share of rent-controlled affordable housing. In doing so, we are creating much-needed homes while fostering a sustainable and high-quality living environment for future residents.
Our thanks go to all project partners involved, particularly the landscape architects at Studio Jankavics and the planning team at MRUD & S for their dedicated collaboration throughout the project.
