Lecture and Teaching at Wismar University of Applied Sciences

Under the title Architectures of Deep Adaptation, Lennart Wolff will give a lecture on 21 October 2026 at 6:00 pm as part of the “Wismarer DIAlog” lecture series at Wismar University of Applied Sciences, as part of his teaching activities in the winter semester of 2026.

Drawing on current projects in Germany, Côte d’Ivoire, and Ghana, he will explore strategies for Deep Adaptation: working with existing materials, structures, and ideas by reusing and reinterpreting them. Against the backdrop of radically changing ecological conditions, the lecture asks how architecture can create adaptable infrastructures that not only respond to change but also enable new forms of living together.
