Opening the niu Amity Hotel in Potsdam

The Hotel niu Amity in Potsdam, designed by wolff:architekten, has recently opened. The house has 198 rooms and 72 long-stay apartments. Within sight of the Palais Barberini as well as Schinkel's Cathedral, this house is a modern interpretation of the classic Marchean materials and colors as well as the intense baroque facade articulations of the old royal city. Inside, an almost Italianate courtyard opens up with a large open staircase - a central theme of the "Prussian Arcadia" taken over in a contemporary way.
