vila vita seedorf
In the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District was created
an area of 12 ha, the nature resort Vila Vita Seedorf. The unique property with natural beach is located
at the southern tip of the Plauer See.
The development of a resort that is close to nature and carefully integrated into the landscape was the primary planning goal. A total of 103 rooms were created in individual buildings grouped around village squares, taking into account high ecological standards. A conference and training area, an ambitious restaurant and a sauna village with its own bathing pond complete the offer. The jetty offers 50 berths. The own sports hall with fitness areas is also used for events.
Most of the buildings are timber frame constructions with low energy standards. A central wood chip system located in the service building supplies the entire system with CO2-neutral heat. Local materials and building traditions were deliberately used with rammed earth walls in the outdoor area, thatched roofs, stacked wood ceilings, wooden paneling and oak floors and wickerwork on the façade.
